CD100 Evolution

The Evolution series CD players benefit from numerous innovations in terms of power supplies or audio and conversion stages. In addition, all these devices can now receive a 24 bits/192 kHz DAC card based on the player’s internal converter. The USB input is asynchronous.

  • 4 mm brushed aluminium front panel.
  • 10 regulated power supplies, including a specific low-noise one for the converter.
  • Linear power supply for digital stages with a specific 30 VA transformer.
  • Separate 10 VA linear transformers for audio stages.
  • 1,6 VA transformer (low consumption).
  • Original TEAC central CD mechanism (latest generation).
  • Pure audio CD player compatible with: CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, WMA-AAC.
  • Double-sided circuit boards with nickel/gold finish.
  • BURR-BROWN PCM1796 converter:
              – 24-bit/192 kHz.
              – Dynamic range: 124 dB.
              – Signal-to-noise ratio: 124 dB.
  • Low-power OLED display.
  • CD-Text display.
  • Differential audio output stages with discrete components biased in class A.
  • ATOLL global remote control.
  • Optional 24 bits/192 kHz digital card for all Evolution series CD players.

DC200 DIGITAL OPTION BOARD

CD players from the Signature range can be optionally fitted with a card with three digital inputs:

  • 1 Coaxial input (S/PDIF – 24 bits/192 kHz).
  • 1 Optical input (S/PDIF – 24 bits/192 kHz).
  • 1 Synchronous USB-B input: 16 bits to 32 bits PCM stream up to 768 kHz asynchronously (USB interface: XMOS with a program specifically developed for ATOLL).

XMOS SPECIFIC DRIVER

Important: using the USB input of the optional DAC card requires downloading a specific driver for Windows computers. This can be downloaded below. This driver is not necessary under MAC and Linux.

Download it here:

XMOS-Stereo-USB-Audio-Class2-Driver-30BB_v4.13.0.exe

The remote control is supplied as standard on each model and allows remote control of all ATOLL products (Integrated, preamps, Tuner, DAC).
In addition, it has all the basic functions including programming, random play, repeat, etc.

The CD100 Evolution is available in black or natural aluminium:
