FAQ’s

Why do streaming services not start with network readers?

Bugs can occur in most streaming applications due to complex data capturing and reproducing issues. In our particular case, when our app tries to connect to the streaming services and fails, it means that a problem is featured in the Airable server in Germany -Airable is a platform that provides services for finding and implementing the best radio stations, music services, and audio and video content on the web for applications worldwide. They complement existing data, combine it with the information chosen by their editors, and make it available to new target groups via Airable services on networked devices. This complex system network can fail from time to time, but it can be solved within 24 hours. Please note that these problems affect all network readers that use Airable to stream radio and music services; they are not specific to ATOLL.

Therefore, if you experience such problems, do not hesitate to contact us before you update the software in your ATOLL app or execute a manoeuvre.

How to install the WPS wireless connection?

If you cannot connect your network drive to your internet box because of the distance or the absence of a powerline box, there is a solution to allow this connection. You can opt for a WPS wireless Wi-Fi solution. You must first ensure that the antennas are connected to the network player. You can use the remote control, which comes with the device and has a WPS button. Press this button and simultaneously launch WPS mode on the internet box if the internet box has this function. This will automatically associate your network drive with your internet box.

How to connect wirelessly from the application?

Some internet boxes do not have easy-to-use WPS; however, we have another solution: use the
ATOLL Signature 2 application to enter your internet code.

When your network player is running, it creates a local network itself, which results in the display of the fixed Wi-Fi symbol at the top right of the display. This local network, called SOFTAP, allows you to connect via Wi-Fi from a Smartphone or Tablet and use the ATOLL Signature 2 application.

How to search on a NAS?

Searching on a NAS is possible from:

Media library / MinimServer[NAS_Music].

The icon is active only in this section.

On “Media library”, we have access to all the music on the network. If you have music in your Livebox, you could grab the music stored on a hard drive and play it underneath—an external NAS. Thanks to “MinimServer”, you can also recover everything present on your NAS in another way, with a slightly more complete organization. You can search by “Artist”, which is pretty well organized. So we take the given artist and can see all the artist’s albums, and very quickly, you launch a song that way.
